Ein anstrengender und langer, aber auch sehr schöner Tag geht zu Ende. Nach der Arbeit war ich mit den besten Kolleginnen der Welt zuerst was trinken und essen, anschließend ging es noch in "Für immer Liebe" mit Rachel McAdams und Channing Tatum. Ein absolut toller Film, bei dem ich wirklich bis zum Ende mitgefiebert habe und mit dessen Ende ich so auch nicht gerechnet habe. Hollywood hätte das Ende definitv anders geschrieben, aber das Leben schreibt ja bekanntlich die besten Geschichten...Mehr wird nicht verraten, da ich nicht weiß, ob einige von euch den Film noch sehen wollen ;) Jetzt noch schnell mein Outfit von heute und dann ab ins Bettchen, ich bin totmüde!

|Sneak Preview - Attack the Block|

letzten Mittwoch war ich mal wieder in der Sneak Preview und zum Glück lief auch ein ganz annehmbarer Film, nämlich Attack the Block.

Story:

Auf dem Weg durch die Straßen von Süd-London wird Sam gerade von einer Teenager-Gang überfallen, als plötzlich etwas vom Himmel stürzt und eine Kreatur sie angreift. Für die Jugendlichen ist die Sache schnell klar: Aliens greifen die Stadt an. Nur kurze Zeit später wird London von den Aliens belagert und die Teenager haben keine andere Wahl, als sich zusammen zu tun, um ihr Viertel mit allen ihnen zur Verfügung stehenden Mitteln zu verteidigen (Quelle: http://www.moviepilot.de/movies/attack-the-block).

Ihr müsst wissen, dass ich normalerweise nicht auf solche Science-Fiction und unrealistische Action-Scheiße stehe, aber ich muss zugeben, dass ich an diesem Film wirklich Gefallen gefunden habe. Ich hab selten bei einem Film diesen Genres soooo gelacht. Ich finde, dass Joe Cornish ein klasse Regierdebüt mit diesem Film hingelegt hat. Und auch die Tatsache, dass es ein englische Produktion ist und sie trotzdem irgendwie an die großen Hollywood-Produktionen herankommt, gefällt mir sehr. Vor allem die unterschiedlichen Charaktäre der Jugendlichen und der anderen Block-Bewohner (die zwei kleinen Kiddies haben es mir so angetan) macht den Film so besonders und witzig. Das einzige was mich wirklich gestört hat, war die Darstellung der Monster/Außerirdischen oder "Gorillawolfmonsterdings", wie es im Film genannt wurde, denn das zieht den Film irgendwie ins Lächerliche (war vom Regisseur wahrscheinlich gewollt, naja).

Falls ihr aber sowieso auf Science-Fiction-Filme steht und einen Abend mal einen Film genießen wollt, ohne großartig darüber nachzudenken, ist Attack the Block wirklich sein Geld wert (zumindest am Kinotag, ich glaub 8-10€ würde ich dafür am Wochenende nicht ausgeben).

Ich hatte ja schonmal darüber berichtet, dass bei uns im Kino vor jeder Sneak Preview Preise verlost werden. Das sind meistens 2-3 kleinere Preise und ein großer Hauptpreis. Ich bin überzeugt davon, dass die meisten der Zuschauer nur wegen der Preise in die Sneak gehen und auch mein Freund und ich beten jedes Mal, dass wir was gewinnen. Und was soll ich sagen.... taaaaadaaaaaaaaa.... Ich weiß auch nicht, wie wir es immer wieder anstellen, aber wir haben immer verdammt Glück, was die Hauptpreise angeht (mein Freund hatte ja schonmal ne Jacke von Hangover 2 gewonnen)! Dieses Mal haben wir die "X-Men"-Triologie gewonnen :) Nicht wirklich Filme für mich, aber einem geschenkten Gaul schaut man nicht ins Maul ;)

Was meint ihr, wäre das ein Film für euch? Oder steht ihr, wie ich, eher auch andere Filme?

|Bridesmaids (Brautalarm)|

It's raining and cloudy and also little too cold. It really doesn't feel like summer, so there isn't a better thing than going to the movies. I saw "Bridesmaids" about two weeks ago. I went to a sneak preview with my boyfriend and fortunately they showed "Bridesmaids" (Brautalarm).

The story:

Annie (Kristen Wiig), is a maid of honor whose life unravels as she leads her best friend, Lillian (Maya Rudolph), and a group of colorful bridesmaids (Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper) on a wild ride down the road to matrimony. Annie's life is a mess. But when she finds out her lifetime best friend is engaged, she simply must serve as Lillian's maid of honor. Though lovelorn and broke, Annie bluffs her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals. My opinion:

I loved the movie. Guys had their own bachelor-party-movie "Hangover" since ages, so why shouldn't girls have one too? "Bridesmaids" really can be compared to "Hangover" and it really is as funny as it. I haven't laughed so much since ages. The characters are great and the situations, they have to deal with, are just funny. It's a great movie for a girl's night out and even my boyfriend enjoyed it. It really is worth watching it, love it!

|Harry Potter - it all ends|

I know that there are already hundreds and hundreds of posts about Harry Potter (it must be annoying for those of you, who don't like Harry Potter) and I also know I'm a little late. I saw Harry Potter last Friday and although it's more than a week now, I still can't believe it's all over.

Before we went to the cinema, I went to Vapiano with my cousin and my sister. We had yummy pizzas and - of course - Arizona Icetea. It was so delicious and it was nice, because we had the time to discuss all important stuff about Harry Potter. And since I was the only one, who had read the books, I had to answer a lot of their questions about the horcruxes and the Deathly Hallows.

But now, about the movie: It really was the best of all Harry Potter-movies, but however I wasn't satisfied at all. I love the books and I really enjoy reading every single word of it. So, when I'm going to see the movies I'm always a little dissapointed because they leave out parts, which are important to me, or they change parts, which is hard for me to understand. And sadly, it was the same with the second part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Don't get me wrong, there were some really amazing scenes, that I liked a lot. For example I liked the part, in which Hermione, Harry and Ron are in Gringotts and steal Hufflepuff's cup, and I really liked all the scenes at Hogwarts in the end. But I didn't understand why they changed the kissing-scene of Ron und Hermione (I really liked it better in the book). And I didn't like the way they showed or didn't show the dead. In the book it is really important that Harry sees Fred dying.  And grieves a lot for him and Lupin and Tonks.

And the last scene.... 19 years later...how bad was that?!? I loved that scene so much in the book, but I was just dissapointed when I saw the movie scene. I mean they have so many great make-up artists, but they cannot manage to make them look a little older or different? It was quite weird. Nevertheless, it was/is a good movie, although I liked the book better.

And now? No more books to read (I alwasy re-read the books before the movie started) and no more movies to see. It's hard to believe it's all over now. I loved Harry Potter and his wizarding world. I loved reading the books and being a part of that wizarding world myself. Right now, I'm reading the House of night-books, but I think I will start all over with the Harry Potter books, when I'm finished. I'm going to read them in english this time and not in German. I really think I will read them over and over again my whole life and I really can't wait to read them to my kids. Yes, Harry Potter always was, is and always will be a part of my life!

Me and my boyfriend went to the sneak preview yesterday. We haven't been there for quite a lont time, so I was really excited about it. Some of you might remember that we saw "Never let me go" the last time we went to a sneak preview and I didn't like it that much (click here to read more). 

Yesterday they showed the movie "The way back" with Jim Sturgess (21), Ed Harris (A beautiful mind, The Hours), Saoirse Ronan (Atonement, Hanna) and Colin Farrell (Daredevil, In Bruges). The movie is about a group of men that got arrested in a Siberian camp during the Second World War. Fortunately they could escape from the camp and have to make their way from Siberia to Mongolia. They hope to be free again in Mongolia, but as they come to pass the Mongolian border they have to realize that like Russia Mongolia is ruled by the communists, too. Because they are afraid to get arrested by the Mongolian communists they decide to cross China, the Himalaya and Tibet to get to British India. The movie shows their escape from Siberia to Britsh India which is quite hard because they have to fight against hunger, thirst, wheather and death.

I'm a really big fan of movies that are based on true story and so is this one. I think it is a great movie with great actors and a great story. The thing I liked most about the movie are the incredible pictures of the landscape they cross during their escape. The mountains of the Himalaya, the Lake Baikal, the Great Wall and the desert in Mongolia. And it seems that the movie wants to tell their audience that which goal you ever set yourself, you can reach it. I really liked the movie and it's worth to see.

At our cinema you can always win something before the movie starts. Usually they raffle movie posters but yesterday they were also raffeling this jacket.

And guess who was the lucky winner AGAIN!?!? Yes, my boyfriend :D We won a poster last time, too. And this time he was the lucky winner of this Hangover 2 jacket and a Scream-poster. So all in all, it was a really great evening!

|wonderful Easter holidays|

I'm so sorry, guys, that I didn't post over the last few days and missed my weekly ...before you die and payoff-posts, but I spent so wonderful days with my family. On Friday we were coloring eggs, Saturday I went to the movies and the fair with my sister and my little cousin. And Sunday was all about spending time with the whole family - searching for eggs, playing games and having BBQ ♥ I hope you all spent some wonderful days with your families, too! And I'm sorry for posting tons of photos now :)

Well, yes, ma'am, I do... I mean, I got everything I need right here with me. I got air in my lungs, a few blank sheets of paper. I mean, I love waking up in the morning not knowing what's gonna happen or, who I'm gonna meet, where I'm gonna wind up.
